Manassas, VA – Building on its long-running, award-winning tradition of arts education, the ARTfactory returns this summer with an expanded lineup of creative camps designed to engage students of all interests and experience levels. Running from June 8 through July 31, the program features four distinct camps— Arts Exploration, Dungeons & Dragons, Theatre Intensives, and a partnership with the City of Manassas Parks, Culture, & Recreation — offering youth a range of opportunities to develop artistic skills, collaborate with peers, and explore storytelling across visual and performing arts in a supportive, educational environment.
For campers ages 5–12, ARTfactory has partnered with Linton Hall School to expand access to high-quality arts programming for families across Northern Virginia. Hosted on the Linton Hall campus, the program benefits from both scenic outdoor areas and spacious classrooms, creating a dynamic setting for hands-on learning in visual and performing arts. Led by more than 15 experienced educators and working artists, the six-week camp series offers a different creative theme each week, including Fantasy, Space, Safari, Circus, Underwater, and Superhero/Anime. Each themed session integrates theatre, movement, music, and visual art projects, providing students with a structured and engaging arts experience throughout the summer. Campers may choose half or full-day attendance.
Back by popular demand, the ARTfactory will offer two weeks of Dungeons & Dragons Camp for intrepid young adventurers ages 10-14. An expert Dungeon Master will guide campers through a week-long campaign full of monsters to defeat, villagers to save, and friends to make. Campers may choose to attend just one week, or both.
As part of the summer lineup, the Theatre Intensives provide young performers with a focused rehearsal and performance experience under the guidance of Pied Piper Theatre, the long-standing youth company of ARTfactory. Known for its commitment to training students in acting, voice, movement, and stagecraft, Pied Piper offers participants the opportunity to collaborate in a full production process from auditions through final performance. This season’s intensives will culminate in two popular titles, Disney’s The Lion King JR and Diary of a Wimpy Kid The Musical, allowing students to build confidence, develop performance technique, and experience the teamwork required to bring a large-scale musical to life.
Lastly, as in previous years, ARTfactory has partnered with the City of Manassas to provide reduced-cost camps to residents of Manassas City. Any student living in area code 20110 or attending a Manassas City school is eligible to attend at only $52.50 for the week. With a mix of theatre and visual arts camps, and offerings for students 5-18 years old, it’s sure to be an enriching experience.
In addition to its summer camp lineup, the ARTfactory will continue to offer week-long, skill-based art classes for students ages 13-18. These classes will cover everything from sculpture to anime to designing and printing stickers, and more!
